Latvia is part of the Schengen Agreement (a group of 26 European countries). This means that you can obtain Latvian visa NOT only from any Latvian diplomatic and consular representative abroad, but also from any of the Schengen countries’ diplomatic/consular mission. Citizens of the following countries do not need a visa to visit Latvia: European Union; residents of Schengen countries, nationals of the USA, New Zealand, Singapore, Taiwan, Mexico, Malaysia, Japan, Korea, Brazil, Barbados, Argentina, Canada. The conference will issue official invite letter to support visa application.

If your schedule does not allow you to join us in Berlin, you can still participate
at the conference. You can present your paper via Skype from the comfort of your
